Discover some exciting science experiments that turn ordinary household ingredients into kaleidescopic micro environments. Make foam clouds, rainbow rain, a galaxy in a bowl, a multicoloured aquatic garden, an underwater volcano and other surprising concoctions. We will also look at some work by some of our favourite contemporary artists who are inspired by science, as well as making a fizzing bubbling edible treat!
Sunday Morning Designs (Jitske Wiersma and Lichen Kemp) enjoy providing a platform for sparking the imagination, whether it’s through their dream inducing bedding, fantastical colouring books and DIY mask kits, or their engaging kids art workshops.
In 2013 we held this workshop at Annie Dennis Kindergarten, Northcote and Koskela in Sydney.
It was wonderfully received by the children, their parents and the host organisers.
This workshop is suitable for ages 4-12 years.
